To accompany her exhibition The C Word, Kim Schoenberger will be hosting a two-hour experimental workshop that explores the notion of the Self through personal identity and art making.
Beginning with a series of short hands-on loosening up exercises, this workshop aims to unlock pathways into the realm of creativity through the use of collage, textiles and wire armature sculpture. Each session will end with a brief dialogue in order to gain a deeper understanding in discovering your inner Creative Self.
WORKSHOP REQUIREMENTS
- All materials will be provided by the Artist.
- Participants are encouraged to bring along various items of personal significance, in particular one piece of old clothing (MUST BE COTTON) which can be torn into strips, plus, a few small favourite objects, such as broken jewellery, old brooches, keys, etc.
